Agricultural Fencing

HIGH-QUALITY AGRICULTURAL FENCING

High performance fencing to suit all agricultural needs

We have been supplying high performance specialist fencing for agricultural projects for over a century.

Our timber comes from the North of Europe where the winters are long and cold resulting in slow grown timber that is strong and durable.

We hold large stocks of machined round fencing stakes and strainers, available in all standard sizes and a range of preservative treatments. Size ranges from 40mm to 200m in diameter and from 1.2m to 3.6m in length.

We offer delivery across Ireland. Get in touch with us for more details.
Fencing posts

Preservative treated posts

We offer a range of preservative treated posts to suit your end requirements – Hazzard/Use Class 3 (HC3), Hazzard/Use Class 4 (HC4), HC4 Incised and HC4 Incised with sawmill applied Postsaver plus sleeves.

Postsaver non-toxic bitumen sleeves provide an effective solution to ground level rot. They create a tough dual layer barrier that keeps the moisture, oxygen and decaying organisms out of the post and at the same time they prevent leaching of the preservative from the post.

Incising facilitates the impregnation of the post with preservative.

William Kirkwood & Sons are leading stockists of imported Imprest AS fencing stakes from the northern forests of Estonia.

Fence Post
Imprest posts are marked with nails for tracing so the origin of the post can be traced for years. Imprest offers a warranty on their posts from 15 to 25 years depending on the type of post and treatment.
